Hatchbacks are perfect for family who wants to buy a budget car. 2017 hatchbacks don’t offer much luxury or performance but we have figured some encouraging features that lean towards user to buy one of these cars. The Chevrolet Sonic, Ford Fiesta and Nissan Versa are decent one let’s dive straight into it.



Our first contestant Ford Fiesta has been one of the top selling hatchback car since going sale in 2008. This car has been dominating in the automotive industry due to its versatility, comfort and driving enjoyment. We say this car is one of the best but not the best one.

2017 model of Chevrolet Sonic has refreshing new updates which comes in a sportier look. However, the five seated hatchback has some drawbacks in point of performance and driving.

This year Nissan Versa so far doesn’t confirm about any upgrades. But the 2016 model is quite well built and its practicality is one of its best thing to consider this car.

Ford Fiesta engine is equipped with only 1.0-liter turbo Eco Boost that provides maximum of 98 horse power. Although this powers the car and reach maximum of 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 11.2 seconds which is quite good for a one-liter engine. This is good enough for safe overtaking as well.

Chevrolet Sonic is far better when compared to engine capacity. With a 1.4 liter turbocharged managed to have 6-speed manual transmission.

Nissan Versa Note gets its grunt from a 1.6-liter inline 4-cylinder (I4) power plant that puts out 109 hp and 107 lb-ft of torque. Which competes the above rivals.

Safety Measures:

Chevrolet Sonic comes with a returning standard safety apparatus including a daytime running lights, OnStar emergency telematics, and a post-collision safety system, and a remote antitheft alarm. If you go for a budget car this Nissan Versa is the best to buy. As Versa doesn’t offer much in the way of bonus or in performance, but Nissan’s 2017 Versa Note subcompact hatchback is long on value, perfect for the urban-dwelling family on a budget.
